Try these first.

  1. 01
Close the game completely and open it again.
A fresh session often clears a temporary glitch.
  2. 02
    Check for an update.
There may be a new version on the App Store, Google Play or, if you're in the beta, TestFlight.
  3. 03
    Check your internet connection.
The game plays offline, but rewarded ads and cloud backup need a connection.

If your progress is missing, don't delete the game or clear its data. Write to us first; your backup may still be there.

Let's solve it together.

We'll find the problem faster if your email includes:

  • Device model and system version
For example "iPhone 13, iOS 26" or "Galaxy A54, Android 14".
  • Level number and what happened
What did you expect, and what happened? The version number at the bottom of the game's Settings tab helps too.
  • For gold or reward issues, roughly when
Tell us how much gold or which reward you expected, and about when it happened.
  • A screenshot, if you have one
A picture often says more than a long description.

Never send passwords, ID documents or card details. You can cover personal information in screenshots.

Small questions, quick answers

FAQ.

Do I need an account to play?

No. Flavor Quest has no account, sign-up or login; just open the game and play. Your progress is backed up automatically with the Apple or Google account on your phone; you don't need to do anything.

Where is my progress saved?

Your levels, stars, gold and boosters are saved on your device. On iPhone and iPad, if iCloud is on, your save is also backed up to iCloud. On Android, your phone's automatic backup setting applies.

On iPhone you can see the backup status in the "Progress backup" line at the bottom of the game's Settings tab. If it says iCloud is off, just turn iCloud on in your phone's Settings.

Will my progress come back if I change phones or reinstall the game?

On iPhone and iPad, with the same Apple account and iCloud on, your save comes back automatically on a new install. iCloud sometimes takes a few minutes; when it arrives the game says "Your progress was restored". On Android, restoring depends on your phone's backup settings, and backups are taken about once a day.

Progress can't be moved between iPhone and Android yet. If your save didn't come back, don't delete the game again; write to us.

I'm out of lives. When do they refill?

You can have up to 5 lives. Losing a level costs one life, and each missing life refills on its own every 30 minutes. If you don't want to wait, tap the heart in the top bar to refill your lives with gold or get unlimited lives for a while. When you lose with no lives left, you can also watch an ad for one life.

A rewarded ad won't open or I didn't get the reward.

An ad may not always be ready; check your connection and try again a little later. Rewarded ads have a daily limit: when it's reached the game tells you, and it resets the next day. The video has to be watched to the end for the reward; closing it early gives no reward.

If you finished the video and the reward didn't arrive, just tell us where you opened the ad (for example the Out of Moves screen), roughly when, and the reward you expected.

A purchase didn't arrive or disappeared.

First close and reopen the game. If it's still missing on iPhone or iPad, tap "Restore purchases" in Settings or at the bottom of the Shop: it brings back your save from iCloud, along with the gold and boosters you bought. On Android, your phone's backup comes back automatically when you reinstall. If the problem continues, write to us with the order number from the store's receipt.

Payments and refunds are handled by Apple and Google. For a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com ↗ for Apple, or your order history on Google Play. No real payment is taken in the beta.

How do I change my ad and privacy choices?

If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you can change your ad consent any time in the game under Settings → Help & Info → Ad Privacy Options; this row only appears in those regions. Anywhere, you can turn off personalized ads in your phone's ad privacy settings. Watching ads is never required; the whole game can be played without them.

Which data is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy.

How do I turn off notifications?

With the Notifications switch in the game's Settings, or in your phone's notification settings. The game only asks for notification permission after you finish your first recipe; if you don't allow it, no notifications are sent.

How do I delete my data?

There's no account, so there's no account to delete. To delete the save on your device, uninstall the game; delete the cloud copy in your iCloud or Google backup settings. This permanently erases your progress.

If you want data processed by the analytics and ad services deleted, write to info@playflavorquest.com with the subject "Flavor Quest — Privacy request"; we'll reply within 30 days at the latest.

Which languages and devices is the game available on?

English and Turkish; you can switch in the Language row of the game's Settings. The game is being made for iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. The beta is currently open on iPhone through TestFlight and on Android through Google Play closed testing; the App Store and Google Play releases are coming soon.

How do I send feedback about the beta?

When you take a screenshot while playing the beta, your iPhone offers to send beta feedback; your screenshot and note come straight to us. You can also write feedback in the TestFlight app. Including the level number helps us a lot. We'd love your ideas for new recipes and game features too.

Privacy is on our menu, too.
